Geoff and Carl Ellison co-write songs occasionally. Song ideas can come and go like the weather in Colorado. Sometimes it is serious, sometimes less so. In the case of “No Banjo,” both seriously and less-so were happening at the same time. Geoff put together fabulous pickers and headed into the studio for what turned out to be a very tight and well-produced recording.
